Sell Your Home in Lewisville, Texas

Updated September 2026 by Sherien Joyner, Carrollton REALTOR®, GRI

If you are selling in 75057, 75067, or 75077, you need comps from your street — not seven reasons to list today.

I live in Carrollton and list in Lewisville. The first step is a pricing range from nearby sold homes, then a plan for photos, showings, and net proceeds.

What Lewisville sellers should know in 2026

Lewisville is bigger and more mixed than Coppell. Buyers compare lake-adjacent streets, Old Town, and interior 1980s–2000s neighborhoods.

Citywide, many recent closings have sat in the high $300,000s, with 75067 often in that more attainable band and 75077 running higher. Clean, well-priced homes still move. Overpriced or tired listings sit while shoppers look at Carrollton or The Colony.

We price from:

  • the last 3–6 closed sales on streets like yours

  • zip and city limits

  • condition: roof, HVAC, foundation, kitchen/baths

  • whether the buyer wants the lake, a one-story, or a payment that beats Coppell

Bring the address. I will tell you a range and what would actually change it.

Lewisville is not one listing

75057 / Old Town and closer-in

Character, convenience, lake and A-train nearby. Condition and parking matter. This is not priced like a cul-de-sac off the freeway.

75067

Many of Lewisville’s typical single-family homes are in 75067. Updates and the yard affect the price more than the city name does.

75077

Often compared with Highland Village and Flower Mound. I confirm the city limits before we pick a list price.

How I list a Lewisville home

  1. Walkthrough and comps — I come to the house, then send a range and a short punch list.

  2. Prep that pays — paint, lighting, yard, and the repairs buyers actually ding. We skip projects that will not return the money before closing.

  3. Launch — professional photos and a listing written for this zip.

  4. Showings and offers — access, feedback, and the conversation when the first offer is not the last.

  5. Contract to close — inspections, appraisal, and the usual North Texas foundation/HVAC questions.

What to fix before we list

Usually worth it: mow and edge, active leaks, dead HVAC, unsafe railings, paint if the house is dark, receipts for roof or HVAC age.

Often not worth it before listing: a luxury kitchen you will not recoup in 60 days, adding a pool, over-improving past the comps.

If the house needs work, we can price it for that buyer instead of staging over problems.

Selling here so you can buy the next house

Many Lewisville sellers are moving to a one-story, another part of Lewisville, Carrollton, or The Colony. We can line up the sale and the next purchase.

Frequently asked question

How much is my Lewisville home worth?

Online estimates miss zip and condition. Use the valuation on my sell page, then I will review nearby sales with you.

How long does it take to sell a house in Lewisville?

Well-priced, ready homes can still move in a few weeks. High prices and deferred maintenance take longer.

Does the zip change my list price?

Yes. 75057, 75067, and 75077 do not share one buyer pool.

Do I have to remodel the kitchen first?

Not always. I will tell you which repairs pay and which do not.

Can you list if I already live out of town?

Yes. We handle access, vendors, and updates.

What will I net after commission, title, and repairs?

I estimate net proceeds when we price the house. List price is not take-home.

Next step

Send the address and the timing. I will come back with a range and a plan.

Pricing comments are 2026 planning ranges, not an appraisal. Your list price comes from comps on your street.
